For Kin: Everywhere.
Thirty years ago today, Oasis dropped the album that changed everything. (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? wasn’t just a collection of songs – it was the soundtrack to a generation. From the first chords of Hello to the last echoes of Champagne Supernova, it was attitude, grit, romance, and chaos rolled into 12 tracks.
For some of us, it was the background noise to growing up. For others, it was the album that made us believe that working-class kids with guitars could conquer the world. And for a lot of us, it still hits like the first time we pressed play. If there was any doubt - See the thousands of grown adults like myself who were reduced to tears of joy and pent up emotions at the shows this Summer.
This record sold millions, but its real legacy isn’t the numbers – it’s the stories. The Knebworth anthems. The terrace sing-alongs. The cassette passed down from older brothers and sisters. The lyrics scratched into school desks. The pub jukebox that still blares Don’t Look Back in Anger when the night needs saving.
At Millsy & Kin, this is why we exist. To honour those moments, to wear those memories, to pass them on. That’s why our Oasis-inspired designs don’t chase trends – they’re threads stitched with meaning. Our t-shirts, hoodies, mugs and other products, they’re all nods to the same spirit that Morning Glory gave us three decades ago: music for the grafters, the dreamers, the Kin.
So here’s to 30 years of an album that made the world a little louder, prouder, and more ours. We’ll keep carrying it, because it’s more than music – it’s a movement.
