For Kin: Designers Collective.

For Kin: Designers Collective.

For Creatives. For Culture. For Kin.

At Millsy & Kin, we don’t do cheap knock-offs, fake logos, or soulless AI art. Every design has to mean something — it has to carry a memory, a feeling, a story. That’s why we created the Designers Collective — a space for real creatives to bring their work into our family and see it worn, shared, and celebrated.

What The Kin Collective Is About
Millsy & Kin was born from nostalgia. Recording the Sunday Top 40 on the radio. The buzz of your first gig. Playing out until the streetlights came on. That mix of 80s grit and 90s swagger that shaped who we are.

The Kin Collective is where those stories get retold through design. We’re looking for original artwork that taps into:

  • 80s & 90s nostalgia — mixtapes, Walkmans, Saturday jobs, corner-shop vibes.

  • Britpop & indie culture — the bands, the fashion, the attitude.

  • Everyday growing up — street football, chip shop teas, park life.

  • Streetwear minimalism with meaning — clean, wearable, timeless.

What we don’t accept:

  • Copied brand logos (Adidas, Nike, etc).

  • Band logos or anything under copyright.

  • AI-generated mashups.

  • Photographs or artwork you don’t own.

If it’s not yours, it’s not for us.

What You Get
If your design is chosen:

  • £50 cash — straight up, no royalties, no chasing.

  • Store credit to order an item with your own design.

  • Your name credited on our site + socials.

  • Your design launched and featured within a Millsy & Kin collection.

How It Works

  1. Submit your design — send us a high-res, original artwork file (ideally PNG with a transparent background). We won’t accept low-quality, watermarked, or AI-generated files.

  2. We review it — if it fits The Kin, we’ll get in touch.

  3. We create product(s) using your design — this could be a t-shirt, a mug, a framed piece, or anything else that fits our range.

  4. You get paid + credited — and your design is launched within a Millsy & Kin collection.

Why This Matters
We’re not a fast-fashion label. We don’t churn out meaningless designs. Everything we do is about quality and culture — making things that last and that people are proud to wear.

By joining The Kin Collective, you’re not just submitting a file. You’re becoming part of a family that values authenticity, nostalgia, and storytelling.

I wish every company had the customer service communication skills as you do. I run my own small independent business and I know how reviews can help or hinder, you will be getting 5 stars from me as my partner already loves her t shirt from you. So well done on the honesty in your email.

I would like to say a big thank you for pulling out all the stops in getting the t shirts to me in double quick time.I am really impressed with the whole process and the communication with you and your company. Is there a site you use for reviews, as people are always quick in telling the world when things go wrong but slow when things go great and I feel I need to tell everyone about my positive dealings with you!!Many thanks and we will be using you again.
